On July 14-15, 2022, the “China Electronic Materials Innovation and Development (Taiyuan) Conference in 2022”, co-sponsored by Shanxi Provincial Department of Commerce and China Electronics Materials Industry Association, and undertaken by Shanxi Provincial Investment Promotion Bureau and Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone Management Committee, was held solemnly. On the scene of the conference, “Zhongji Micro Material” made a brilliant appearance, and met with new and old customers again to imagine the future. Zhongji Micro Material, a new emerging international leading precision grinding and polishing solution provider specialized in R&D, production and process innovation, in order to provide the customers with comprehensive application solutions for grinding, abrasion and polishing system of materials for mechanical and chemical processing, will create an industrial layout with Shenzhen as the application center, the laboratories in the United States and Japan as the research and development center, and three production bases of processing, new materials and chemicals as the delivery center, making full preparation for becoming the international leading precision grinding and polishing solution provider.

With the theme of “Focusing on New Materials Industry, Guiding High Quality Development”, the Conference aimed to provide a high-quality exchange platform for enterprises, colleges and institutions, in order to promote academic research, technological progress and industrial development of new electronic materials in China. The opening ceremony was presided over by Pan Lin, serving as the Chairman of China Electronics Materials Industry Association. Yu Yingjie serving as the Vice Governor of Shanxi Province, Yang Xudong serving as Deputy Director of Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Shi Dongmei serving as the Technical Chief Engineer of High-tech Research & Development Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Li Wei as an Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech; Zhou Ji as an Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Yang Deren as an Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences made a keynote speech at the main forum of the Conference respectively.

So far, Zhongji Micro Material has achieves the comprehensive independent research and development and mass production of the diamond agglomerated grinding material, grinding fluid, and even the auxiliary grinding pad.

Services provided by Zhongji Micro Material

— Focus on processing grinding/thinning section of compound semiconductor substrate

Remove the line mark and the unformed layer with the coarse-particle agglomerated grinding compound and soft PAD; as a result, a smooth surface is left, and the surface state with the single side processing capacity less than 10um is achieved; even the processing mode of grinding is selected, this process is necessary.

For the compound substrate material – brittle material SIC/GaN, the depth damage on single side caused by the cast iron grinding tool is higher than that caused by soft PAD by 15um (+2~12um caused by cast iron grinding tool; the depth damage on single side caused by diamond is 25um).

It is possible to achieve the roughness of 1~2nm with the fine-particle agglomerated grinding compound; during the processing of CMP, it is possible to obtain the smooth polished surface by polishing less than 1.5um. As the preferred material in the industry, the small-particle agglomerated diamond grinding material developed independently by Zhongji Micro Material can be used for processing grinding/thinning section of compound semiconductor substrate.
